The Feed My Sheep Food Pantry was started in 2006 by Helen Thomson and Jackie Linzmeyer. The goal of the pantry is to reach out to those in our communities who are in need and provide them with support to help them meet their personal needs. Supported solely on donations and volunteers, the pantry has been able to open the doors to the surrounding communities every Tuesday at 10am and 5pm throughout the year.
Both Lena and Coleman have Knights of Columbus councils that reach out to the communities in a variety of ways.
Knights are Catholic men, 18 years of age and older, who are committed to making their community a better place, while supporting their Church. Being a Knight is more than camaraderie; it is being involved with your community; it is supporting your local Church, while enhancing your own faith; it is about protecting and enhancing your family life.
